Kyiv Literary and Memorial Museum of Maksym Rylsky
This museum is dedicated to Maksym Rylsky — a prominent Ukrainian poet, artist, and publicist. The two-story house where the poet spent the last 13 years of his life (1951–1964) was built according to his own design. The museum’s collection includes a wealth of manuscripts, the poet’s personal library (with many books signed by their authors), and personal belongings, such as hunting gear, which reflect his lifestyle and legacy.
Lukianivka Historical and Memorial Reserve
The Lukianivka Necropolis reveals the intertwined stories of Ukrainian history, architecture, and art. It is the final resting place of many notable Ukrainian families — Symyrenkos, Polubotkos, Leontovyches, Samoylovychs, Ornatskys, Chyrvynskys, Yurkewychs, Hrushevskys, Ohiievskys, and others. This cemetery holds the remains of numerous renowned individuals whose contributions to science and culture are recognized not only in Ukraine but worldwide.
National Memorial to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes – Maidan Museum
The Maidan Museum preserves, researches, and exhibits historical artifacts connected to Ukraine’s struggle for freedom — primarily the 2013–2014 Revolution of Dignity (Maidan) and earlier uprisings. Its powerful exhibits allow visitors to experience the "spirit of Maidan." The museum’s collection, built by activists, contains over a thousand key items, about 500 audio and video interviews, official records, photographs, and publications.
