The Kyiv Academic Theater for Young Audiences on Lypky was founded in 1924 by creative young people, including Iryna Deeva (the first female director in Ukraine) and Oleksandr Solomarskyi, who became the first director of the theater. Today, the theater provides an opportunity for young directors to create experimental productions aimed at shaping the youth generation. The theater is an important center of high artistic culture in the capital.
