About the place
The Wild Theatre is one of the most popular contemporary independent theatres in Ukraine. It was founded in 2016 by Yaroslava Kravchenko and currently brings together some 120 actors selected at open castings (this is the first theatre of this kind in Ukraine).
The Wild Theatre stages acute social performances based on plays by contemporary Ukrainian and foreign playwrights, various independent theatre projects, and musicals.
Performances are staged in various places, including zoos, night clubs, outdoor areas, etc.
The Chief Director of the Wild Theatre, Maksym Holenko, is one of the top ten directors of Ukraine. His performances were awarded at various festivals and competitions, including Kyiv Pectoral, Taking the Stage programme piloted by the British Council, Grand Prix of the Eastern Express Festival, Melpomene Tavriia Festival, etc.
