About the place
It is located in the centre of the historical and business part of the city in the European Square. Built in 1964, the hotel is designed to receive foreign guests. Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida, Julio Iglesias and Patricia Kaas, James Aldridge and Peter Ustinov stayed here at different times. Currently, the 4-star hotel has 107 comfortable rooms and offers the services of business centres, conference halls, depositories, SPA centres, restaurants of Ukrainian and European cuisine. The Panorama Club restaurant on the last 12th floor offers a breath-taking view of the central part of the city, the park and the Dnieper.
In 2020, the hotel was purchased at an auction for over 1 billion hryvnias. The new owners, the co-founder of the NAVI cyber team Oleksandr Kokhanovskyi and partners, planned to renovate rooms in Dnipro for cyber gamers. In the future, they foresee the construction of a new e-sports arena in Kyiv for 10,000 visitors.
