About the place
There is a sightseeing platform on the ‘Hill of Sighs’ from which a panorama of Podil, Andriivskyi Descent and the Castle Hill opens up. Through the greenery, you can also see Vozdvyzhenka, Trukhaniv Island and Left Bank Kyiv. It can reached by using a steep openwork cast-iron staircase located near the Castle of Richard the Lionheart. If you are not afraid of difficulties, then you will be rewarded with a wonderful view. Here you can sit on benches and have a romantic meeting.
