«Peremoha (Victory)» Park

Peremoha (Victory) Park is located in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district, near the "Darnytsia" metro station. It was opened in 1965 to commemorate the victory in World War II. Today, the park has a modern look, thanks to a major renovation carried out from 2003 to 2012. A large portion of the park is covered by a pine forest with scenic walkways, along with a beech grove that is considered a natural monument. While the park has some military-themed elements, it remains a popular spot for family recreation and sports. It boasts numerous flower beds, a lake, children's and sports playgrounds, rope courses, rides, an indoor skating rink, and a concert and dance hall. Visitors can also rent bicycles, scooters, and rollerblades. Peremoha Park is a favorite destination for many residents of Kyiv's left bank.
