The park was founded in 1965 near the Darnitsa metro station in honor of the victory in the World War II. In the center is the “Mound of Immortality”, which honors the fallen heroes. The park was reconstructed in the 2008. A significant part of it is occupied by a pine forest with alleys, there is a section of beech forest, which is considered a natural monument, a decorative lake with arched bridges and an island, sports and playgrounds, an indoor skating rink "Kryzhynka", a concert and dance hall "Rovesnyk", an amusement park with a ferris wheel, a rope park SkyPark, fountains, etc.
