The Park, with an area of almost 12 hectares, is part of the Pushcha-Vodytskyi Forest. As early as in the late 19th century, Kyivites began to come there to rest, and a cottage village and sanatoriums were built later. There are a number of ponds in the Park, including one of the cleanest lakes in Kyiv, Herashchykha.
In 2019, the Park was renovated. Now, there are beach and recreation areas, children’s and sports grounds, a football field, and a summer bandstand. One of the oldest and most picturesque tram lines used by regular trams and also by a tram-café leads to Pushcha-Vodytsia.
