Rusaniv Park is equally captivating for its sculptures and art installations. Along the park's paths, you'll discover patriotic decorative polyhedra that shimmer with vibrant colors at night. The first art piece to grace the revitalized park is the whimsical figure of a "rare bird," a creation of a talented artist’s imagination.
On July 5, 2011, the sculpture "Bird on a Cube" was unveiled in the central area of the park, nestled in a flower bed near the rotunda gazebo. This Majolica "rare bird," also known as the "blue sparrow," bears a striking resemblance to characters from the popular Angry Birds game. The mosaic composition was crafted by Ukrainian sculptor and designer Kostiantyn Skrytutskyi, who has also filled Peyzazhna Alley with his works and created many other original pieces throughout Kyiv, including "Hedgehog in the Fog," "Owl," "Sparrow," and "Grand Piano in the Bushes."
