Telbin Lake has become a unique hub for sports enthusiasts. In 1979, just before the 1980 Olympic Games, a track and field arena were constructed along its shores. This facility underwent renovations in 2012, enhancing its appeal.

Surrounding the lake, you'll find a variety of sports amenities, including a tennis court, children's sport grounds, fitness equipment, and areas for beach volleyball and basketball. There’s even a baseball stadium, which is quite rare in Ukraine.

A 2,000-meter-long path encircles the lake, providing dedicated lanes for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as a jogging area with a specialized rubber surface—recognized as the best running track in Kyiv.

The proximity of the athletic arena, along with the running tracks and numerous sports facilities, makes this area a popular destination for athletes, triathletes, baseball players, and anyone who leads an active lifestyle. It's a vibrant place where competitions, training sessions, and other sporting events frequently take place.
