The State Toy Museum of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was established in 2005. Its collection has been gathered over the course of about 70 years and includes 15,000 exhibits. In particular:

industrial designs of toys from the 30s to 90s of the twentieth century;
unique author's toys;
the only collection of board games in Ukraine;
a collection of Ukrainian folk toys.

They are presented in 3 expositions: ‘History of Toys’, “Ukrainian Folk Toys”, and the changing exhibition hall. An exhibition of New Year's decorations, the oldest of which are over 150 years old, is also opened every year before the New Year.
