The Wild Theatre is one of the most popular contemporary independent theatres in Ukraine. It was founded in 2016 by Yaroslava Kravchenko and today unites about 120 actors who are selected at open auditions (this is the first such theatre in Ukraine).

Dykyi stages acutely social performances based on plays by contemporary Ukrainian and foreign playwrights, as well as various independent theatre projects and musicals.

The performances take place in various venues, including zoos, nightclubs, open-air venues, etc.

The chief director of the Wild Theatre, Maksym Golenko, is one of the top ten directors in Ukraine, and the company's performances have won awards at various festivals and competitions, including the Kyiv Pectoral, the British Council's Taking the Stage programme, the Grand Prix at the Orient Express Festival, the Melpomene Tavria Festival, and others.
