Generator is more than a coworking space.Located in a building,
which is a historical landmark of Kyiv architecture.
Namely, in the former restaurant "Dynamo" created by Yosyp Karakis, the legendary city planner.
It was built in 1932–1934 and is a representative of constructivism.

CONCEPT

Considering the history, we decided to give new meanings to the building, whose walls have preserved: almost 100 years of history, thousands of voices and millions of ideas.

Our goal is to create more than a co-working space, a complete ecosystem of open space: offices, restaurant, open spaces, event halls and events. Inspired by the aesthetics of the past — to fill the space with people of the present.

Therefore, we kept the original structure of the location, added antique furniture and "bare" the building, showing the columns, five layers of plaster, the ceiling and in some places the floor in its original form.

PEOPLE

From the very beginning, this location has always been a meeting magnet for the Kyiv elite, where government banquets were often held as well.
