The Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine was established in 1927.

The department conducts cycles: specializations and internships in the specialty of psychiatry; pre-certification cycles and thematic improvement; related cycles in psychiatry; clinical residency, postgraduate and master's degrees.
