The theater was founded in 1994 and is currently the first and only state-owned professional Gypsy theater in Ukraine, working in the genres of classical romance, musical drama and national folklore. Over the years, solo concert programs, performances, and themed evenings based on the best examples of extraordinary and original Gypsy musical culture have been presented to audiences not only in Ukraine but also in many countries around the world.
