The Actor Theater was founded in 1987 by People's Artist of Ukraine Valentyn Shestopalov, for whom the Actor Theater became a way of self-affirmation and the realization of his secret creative dreams. For the first four seasons, the Actor worked in a new format for Kyiv - a cafe theater. Today, the Actor is a modern theater, where alternative performances by young and experienced directors are accompanied by classic and time-tested productions.
