This is one of the most famous houses in Kyiv. After all, from 1906 to 1922, the family of the talented writer Mikhail Bulgakov lived in it. Here he spent his childhood, youth, first medical practice, and wrote his first works. It was this house on Andriyivskyi Descent that became the center of the plot of the famous "White Guard".
The museum's collection consists of 47 personal items of Bulgakov (including manuscripts); several hundred books/magazines/letters/programs/theater tickets of his family - a total of about 400 memorial items. As well as about 1,000 personal items of the writer's most beloved sister - Nadezhda Zemskaya.
