Ukrainian poet Maksym Rylskyi spent the last 13 years of his life in the scenic forest park of Holosiiv. The two-story house where he lived was designed by the poet himself. It was here that he penned some of his greatest works, including Roses and Grapes, Winter Notes, and Evening Conversations.
In the summer of 1969, a memorial museum was established in the house, preserving over 30,000 items, including his personal belongings, an extensive library, voice recordings, and hunting gear. Among the museum's most prized treasures are Rylskyi’s manuscripts, personal letters, fine art pieces, as well as film and photo archives.
On the museum grounds, an orchard planted by the poet still flourishes. Near the entrance, a bust on a pedestal clearly captures his likeness.
