The Japanese-style Park was laid out between Lisova and Chernihivska metro stations in 1972 in honour of the signing of the Treaty on Friendly Relations between the Cities of Kyiv and Kyoto. Following its reconstruction in 2018, the Park was announced a monument of garden art.
There is a traditional stone garden there, a pagoda, an artificial pond with fish, a waterfall and a small island and a bridge over it; equipped children’s and sports grounds.
In 2011, an almost kilometre-long sakura alley was planted in the Park, which makes it the longest in Ukraine.
