One Street Museum

It is located on Andriivskyi Descent and is dedicated to its history. The museum was opened in 1991. In the two halls of the permanent exposition of the museum, hundreds of real antiques are collected: books, paintings, pieces of furniture and clothes, photographs and documents that tell about historical events related to Andriiivskyi Descent, its famous inhabitants: the writer Hryhir Tiutiunnyk, artists Hryhorii Diadchenko, Ivan Makushenko and Fotii Krasytskyi, sculptors Fedir Balavenskyi and Ivan Kavaleridze. Several museum showcases tell visitors about the history of the St. Andrew’s Church, the Castle of Richard the Lionheart, and other buildings of Andriivskyi Descent.
