The landscape where the waterfront now passes was formed due to the alluvial soil for the construction of the Obolon residential area in the 1970s and 1980s. For a long time there was a sandy wasteland, and the area began to acquire a modern look only in the early 2000s. In some areas, the arrangement work was completed just a few years ago. Today, the Obolonska waterfront stretches for several kilometers along the Dnipro Bay of the same name. It is completely pedestrian, with equipped bicycle paths, modern public spaces, atmospheric facilities, a public beach, sports and playgrounds. You can spend the whole day on the waterfront because of the cool nature and infrastructure and a number of interesting places nearby.
